DAY 1

Bagdogra / NJP – Yuksom

Altitude: 5,670 ft Drive Duration: 7–8 Hours Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, drive through scenic mountain roads to Yuksom, a picturesque village known as the first capital of Sikkim. Check into your accommodation, meet the trek team, and attend a pre-trek briefing. Overnight Stay: Yuksom

DAY 2

Yuksom – Tshoka

Altitude: 9,650 ft Distance: 16 km Trek Duration: 7–8 Hours The trek begins through dense forests filled with oak, chestnut, and rhododendron trees. Cross several suspension bridges and pass through the settlements of Sachen and Bakhim before reaching the charming Tibetan village of Tshoka. Overnight Stay: Trekker's Hut / Campsite

DAY 3

Tshoka – Dzongri

Altitude: 13,100 ft Distance: 9 km Trek Duration: 6–7 Hours A steady ascent through magnificent rhododendron forests leads to Phedang and eventually to Dzongri. As the tree line fades, breathtaking views of snow-clad Himalayan peaks begin to unfold. Overnight Stay: Dzongri Campsite

DAY 4

Dzongri Exploration & Acclimatization

Altitude: 13,675 ft (Dzongri Top) Wake up early for a short hike to Dzongri Top and witness an unforgettable sunrise over Kanchenjunga, Pandim, Kabru, Rathong, and surrounding peaks. Spend the remainder of the day acclimatizing and exploring the surrounding high-altitude meadows. Overnight Stay: Dzongri

DAY 5

Dzongri – Thansing

Altitude: 12,900 ft Distance: 10 km Trek Duration: 6–7 Hours Descend gradually to the Prek Chu River before climbing through expansive alpine meadows towards Thansing. The campsite offers magnificent close-up views of Mt. Pandim. Overnight Stay: Thansing Campsite

DAY 6

Thansing – Lamuney

Altitude: 13,700 ft Distance: 5 km Trek Duration: 2–3 Hours Today's walk is relatively short and gentle, allowing ample time to rest and prepare for the trek's most exciting day. The trail follows open meadows with panoramic mountain views throughout. Overnight Stay: Lamuney Campsite

DAY 7

Lamuney – Goechala Viewpoint I – Thansing

Highest Altitude: 15,100 ft Distance: 16–18 km Trek Duration: 10–12 Hours Start before dawn and trek past the stunning Samiti Lake, reflecting the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Reach Goechala Viewpoint I in time to witness the sunrise over Kanchenjunga's towering southeast face. After enjoying this once-in-a-lifetime spectacle, descend back to Thansing. Overnight Stay: Thansing Campsite

DAY 8

Thansing – Tshoka

Altitude: 9,650 ft Distance: 16 km Trek Duration: 7–8 Hours Retrace the trail through alpine meadows, forests, and mountain landscapes as you descend towards Tshoka. Overnight Stay: Tshoka

DAY 9

Tshoka – Yuksom

Altitude: 5,670 ft Distance: 15 km Trek Duration: 6–7 Hours Continue descending through dense forests and suspension bridges before arriving back at Yuksom. Enjoy a comfortable evening celebrating the successful completion of the trek. Overnight Stay: Yuksom

DAY 10

Yuksom – Bagdogra / NJP

After breakfast, drive back to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station with unforgettable memories of one of India's finest Himalayan adventures. Tour Ends
